Many candidates have lodged complaints with the KEA regarding the Karnataka PGCET exam date as it clashes with the UPSC Prelims. The latest speculation suggests that the Karnataka PGCET MBA and MCA exam dates may be rescheduled to June 13 or June 14.
KEA PGCET Revised Exam Date: What is the New Schedule?
The KEA has hinted at a change in the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date specifically for MBA and MCA courses. Previously the Karnataka PGCET exam was scheduled for May 24 however candidates became anxious as the UPSC CSE Prelims were also slated for the same day.
Now an official response regarding the KEA PGCET 2026 exam date has been posted on its official X handle; the MBA and MCA exams are tentatively scheduled for June 13 or 14, 2026. There are no changes to the ME/MTech exams, which will remain on May 23 as originally planned for Saturday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
This revision of the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam date is being undertaken in response to demands from candidates. Those appearing for both examinations were being forced to choose between the two while candidates focusing solely on the PGCET were unable to finalize their preparation strategies.
