Eligibility Criteria for TISS Mumbai MBA 2026

For TISS Mumbai MBA admission, a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required (45% for reserved categories). Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

Work experience is not mandatory for all programs, though it is preferred for the ODCL program. A CAT 2025 score is mandatory the expected cutoff for the General category is 70-95 percentile.

There is no age limit. A separate admission process applies to international students.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Filling out the TISS Mumbai 2026 admission form is easy. Follow these steps:

  2. Select PG Programmes and register using your email ID.
  3. Enter your CAT 2025 details and fill in your personal information.
  4. Choose your program (HRM&LR, MHA or ODCL).
  5. Upload the required documents: photograph, signature and graduation marksheet.
  6. Pay the fee INR 1,750 per course.
  7. Submit the application and take a printout.

Selection Process and Weightage

Shortlisting takes place after CAT 2025. This is followed by an online assessment: the Extempore Reflection Test (ERT) and the Personal Interview (PI).

The TISS Merit List 2026 is live on tiss.edu. Here are the steps:

  1. Visit admissions.tiss.ac.in
  2. Click on View Results or Merit List 1 for CAT-PG 2026.
  3. Enter your registration number and password.
  4. Download the PDF  Check for your name in the TISS shortlist PDF.

TISS Mumbai MBA Courses and Fees

TISS MBA courses mainly are:

  • MA HRM & LR: HR management focus.
  • MHA: Hospital admin.
  • MA ODCL: Self-financed, leadership.

The total fees are around ₹1,85,000, plus extra charges for the hostel. This is affordable compared to top MBA programs.

Cutoff Trends for CAT MBA Admission 2026

Last year the overall cutoff for the MA HRM&LR program was the 70th percentile. In 2026, following the challenging CAT 2025 exam, this cutoff could rise slightly specifically to 85+ for the General category.

For reserved categories the cutoff would be lower. This prediction is based on current trends.
