IIM Indore PI Calls Out 2026: Cutoffs & Shortlist

IIM Indore has released the IIM Indore PI (Personal Interview) shortlist for the PGP 2026-28 batch. The shortlisting is based on CAT 2025 scores, academic performance, and diversity and shortlisted candidates are being notified via email in January 2026.

You can check your status on the official IIM Indore website. Enter your CAT registration number on the official link. The process is simple: go to iimidr.ac.in and find “Provisional Short-list for PI: PGP 2026-28” in the announcements section.

The shortlist has been prepared based on expected cutoffs. For the General category a minimum of 90 overall and 80 sectional percentile was required for qualification.

CAT 2025 Cutoff for IIM Indore PGP Admission

The CAT 2025 category wise cutoffs for IIM Indore are as follows. These are the minimum qualifying cutoffs for shortlisting.

Based on past trends actual calls for the General category have been received by candidates in the 92-93 percentile range. These cutoffs play a key role in the IIM Indore PGP admission process.

How is the PI shortlist composite score calculated?

The composite score for shortlisting is calculated from multiple factors. This formula is taken from the official admissions procedure.

  • 10th Marks: 10 × normalized score​
  • 12th Marks: 25 × normalized score​
  • CAT Sectional: VARC 16%, DILR 16% and QA 23% weights​
  • Diversity Factor: 7 points (gender/academic diversity)​
  • Work Ex: 0-3 points​

High scores in 10th/12th grade and a balanced CAT score increase your chances of selection. Candidates with work experience have an advantage.

What is the final selection process?

The final composite score will be calculated after clearing the PI (Personal Interview):

  • PI Score: 45% weight​
  • CAT: 40% (VARC heavy)​
  • Academics: 10%​
  • Diversity: 5%​

A merit list will be prepared based on categories. Offers are expected to be made by May-June 2026.
